What do I sound like?

I've been producing electronic music at home since the mid 90's. I caught the bug at school where our music teacher introduced the class to the joys of the Atari ST and MIDI keyboards. I bought my own Atari when I began working full time and never looked back, producing tune after tune first in a house and trance style and then in a more breaks orientated vibe.

By the time I could afford a PC in 2001, Propellerheads had created the spectacular Reason DAW and I never looked back. A whole world of new techniques and styles were open to me and its gotten to the stage now where I am even considering sending some of my stuff to some labels....

But the proof of any pudding is in the eating and the proof of a tune is in the listening so heres some of my work.....

Global Rhythms Vol 1 - Laid Back

Rhythm (from Greek ῥυθμόςrhythmos, "any measured flow or movement, symmetry") is the variation of the length and accentuation of a series of sounds or other events.

My latest mix takes in some of the grooves from around the world from Brazilian to Afro-cuban and with a dearth of percussion inbetween. Hope you like it. Drop me some feedback!

Lets get ready to rrr-umble!!!

Well its now the peak of the Great British Summer (insofar as we've had about 3-4 days of sun), so now is the ideal time to unleash the ridiculous fury of The Peanut Butter Jelly Sessions. The first in an ongoing series of mixes that encapsulates....well pretty much everything but the kitchen sink.

Taking us from early 90's pop & Grunge via Mary Poppins and then it all goes a bit hip hop before Rick Astley and The littlest Hobo see us off. BAM! You don't get tunes like this at your average high street nightclub! Well, unless its student night or they've got the cleaners in with the radio on.....hmph.

So enjoy, pass on the good vibes and keep an eye out for the next instalment soon.....(click on the topic title for the download!)
